About Us

The Crowsnest Pass Agricultural Society is a non-profit organization located in the pristine mountains of Crowsnest Pass, Alberta. Our Ag Society is an active organization, which hosts or sponsors events and programs year round in the community.

What We Do

The Crowsnest Pass Agricultural society supports many other non-profit organizations in Crowsnest Pass and area, as a way of meeting our mission to increase the quality of life of people living in a rural area. The area our society works within is unique, as it is not 100% agricultural, but rather a composite of different industries, which drive our local economy.

So many of our community events are not just designed for the stereotypical horse or rodeo lovers, but are designed to encompass the needs of a diverse field of interests and family values.

Our membership discusses and then whenever possible, votes to support worthwhile programs and community events hosted by Societies involved with the Ag Society. During this process we are rewarded with all of the ideas, information, and talents that each member possesses... And this is what keeps our society going forward.

Typically, we support and work with:

  • Individual athletes in their pursuit of excellence
  • Doors Open Heritage Festival
  • Coleman Community Society
  • Turtle Mountain Riding Club
  • Hillcrest Historical Society
  • Bellecrest Community Association
  • Bellevue Underground Mine
  • Kananaskis Rodeo Association
  • Crowsnest Pass Gardening Club
  • Coleman Museum and Archive
  • Crowsnest Pass Chamber of Commerce
